My wife and I have traveled up the California Coast on several occasions in search of fine dining hot spots. We have found spots such as Celadon in Napa Valley, The Ritz Carlton in San Francisco & Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos, Ca. However, as locals to the Conejo Valley we’ve had a tough time finding anything better than mediocre until we came across Leila’s in Oak Park, Ca. Leila’s offers the highest caliber of fine dining/wine combinations in the Conejo Valley (in our opinion). We’ve been several times and each time I’m in absolute disbelief on how damn good the food is. On our last visit we had the Crispy Lobster Tempura & Duck Confit Enchiladas for appetizers, Grilled Filet Mignon & Grilled Marinated Veal Chop for our main courses and Blueberry Crème Brulee for dessert. I highly recommend Leila’s Restaurant for anyone looking for fine cuisine in the Conejo Valley. 5 Stars and 2 thumbs up!
